Tommy Dueñas
is a former professional baseball player, college coach, business & fundraising consultant & currently a scout for an MLB Organization.
Born & raised in Miami, FL., attended Coral Gables High School & Florida International University (FIU). Drafted his JR year in the 2002 MLB Draft, Tommy played seven seasons in the LA Angels, KC Royals,

Born & raised in Miami, FL., attended Coral Gables High School & Florida International University (FIU). Drafted his JR year in the 2002 MLB Draft, Tommy played seven seasons in the LA Angels, KC Royals, & Colorado Rockies organizations — reaching the Triple-A level.
After his professional
playing career ….
he spent six years as the catching & hitting coach at Miami Dade College, producing 30+ draft picks.
Was part of USA Baseball throughout multiple National Team scouting/coaching roles & highlighted by being an Assistant Coach on the 15u National Team in 2014, eventually producing the #1 & #2 overall picks in the 2017 MLB Draft.
He then moved on to
FIU as the Director of External Operations for his first two years & served as the volunteer assistant coach his third year.
He is currently a scout for an MLB Organization since 2019.
Tommy understands the physical & mental demands on & off the field & court, along within the corporate world.
That realization led Tommy to become a Certified Mental Coach & an MBTI & PRIZM practitioner.
He works as a mental coach with athletes of all levels, including MLB players, along with sports & business teams, since 2018.
